Getting to Iquitos from Abroad

Fly to Lima (Jorge Chavez International Airport), then take a short 1h45 domestic flight to Iquitos. Major airlines like LATAM and Sky Peru operate multiple daily flights. We provide free airport pickup when you book directly. Iquitos has no road access -- the only way in is by air or river, making it one of the most unique destinations in South America.

Best Time to Visit

Iquitos has a tropical climate year-round (25-35°C). The "dry" season (June-October) is ideal for jungle excursions. The "wet" season (November-May) offers higher river levels for boat adventures and fewer tourists.

What to Pack

Light, breathable clothing, insect repellent, sunscreen, and comfortable walking shoes. A light rain jacket is useful year-round. We provide fresh towels and basic toiletries.
